Proud2Be Community Event

Offering an hour-long workshop for this community event, hosted by Proud2Be

“a grassroots queer-led social enterprise that exists to support and enable LGBTQIA+ people in Devon (and beyond) to thrive, be free, safe and proud to be ourselves; and to work with others to acknowledge and help dismantle systemic oppression.”

Enriching our lives with plants: food, medicine, friends

In this hour-long session we’ll explore our relationships to plants, and introduce various ways of connecting with them to enrich our lives. Bringing in some seasonal plants growing around us, El will introduce ways of bringing them into our homes and communities as food, medicine and friends!

El is a passionate facilitator who is committed to sharing land-based skills and knowledge with underserved communities to enhance our collective wellbeing and resilience. They are passionate about plants, wild food and cyclicality, and are on a life-long journey of learning from the land and everyone they have the honour of working with.
